The proper mallet is often more important than the bowl itself. As a general rule the thicker the head of the mallet the deeper the tone. Another very important aspect is the mass (weight) of the mallet and the exterior (impact material) as well as the material used in the core of the head.
Sonic Temple provides a vast selection of singing bowl mallets each corresponding to different size of bowls:
1. XS – 35 mm or (1 3/8“)
2. S – 40 mm or (1 37/64“)
3. M – 45 mm or (1 49/64“)
4. L – 50 mm or (1 31/32“)
5. XL – 55 mm or (2 11/64“)
Weight: from 400g – 2000g
